After the income list of selected specialties such as orthopedics or internal medicine, now the list of “typical incomes” of all statutory health insurers: laboratory/pathology, radiology, internists, ophthalmologists, urologists, orthopedic surgeons, pulmonologists, ENT doctors, surgeons, dermatologists, psychiatrists , pediatricians, general practitioners, gynecologists and dentists.
There is no doubt that there is no room for jealousy when it comes to doctors’ incomes. They have gone through a long, difficult training and care for the health of their patients every day. Of course it is interesting how much statutory health insurers in Austria actually earn – also as a motivation for young people to decide to study medicine. For the first time, we show the complete list of annual incomes – from general practitioners to dentists. We also have concrete case studies of how much doctors in cities and rural areas earn, depending on age and specialty.
