More and more young women are taking the step in independence. Four Viennese tell their history.
Young people are often said to be shy about work. Four power women show that there is another way, which not only holds a full-time position, but even built their own company and that under 24! They describe their exciting career for the “Kroon”.
From the model to the nurse
On 21, Nadine Pfaffeder ventured into self-and-unemployment and Nadine set up GmbH, which offers individual support and care. During the Covid 19 crisis she broke her education diploma because it didn’t meet her. “I could no longer model it and waiter, so I did my training as a help at home,” she says. Today she leads an innovative company in Vienna with her nine team team. Your goal: to be one of the largest providers in Austria in ten years and to define the industry.
Carina Rieder is also far for many colleagues at the age of 22: De Viennese has set up a company that responds flexibly and individually to the needs of children, parents and educators. Her vision: childcare that not only promotes the children, but also appreciation and a healthy concept that has good future opportunities with a view to the crisis in nursery schools.
Linda Lorenzoni works in a similar industry covered by crisis. The 22-year-old has launched a recruitment company that ensures a relief in the catering industry. It offers a flexible solution for short -term lack of staff and helps to find restaurant owners, motivated and qualified service personnel for events or short -term bottlenecks. Here too, the motivated young entrepreneur will not find it difficult to find customers.
And last but not least, Ina Höller. She is a creative talent that offers new perspectives in the world with her passion for photography. At the age of only 22 she made a name for herself as a photographer.
“Success knows no age”
The figures speak for themselves: 43.2 percent of all start -ups in Vienna is made by women. In particular remarkable – 26.6 percent of the founders are younger than 20 years old. “Success does not know any age, especially when it comes to the young generation of entrepreneurs who are already shaping the economy of tomorrow,” says Margarete Kriz-Zwittkovits, chairman of women in De Vienna.
