Multi-billionaire and Microsoft founder Bill Gates has posted a curious find on the business network LinkedIn: a 48-year-old resume with which the then 19-year-old had applied for a job as a systems analyst and programmer at an American IT company. But Gates doesn’t seem too proud of it…
After all, the Microsoft founder writes in the accompanying text of the message on LinkedIn: “Whether you just graduated or dropped out of college, I’m sure your resume looks much better than mine did 48 years ago.”

The resume shows a lot of specialist knowledge: The IT billionaire reported in his resume at the age of 19 about his knowledge of computer graphics, operating systems and database management. There is also talk of a joint project with Paul Allen, with whom Gates later founded Microsoft.
Of course, there are also curious details in the 48-year-old resume, which apparently was still on a typewriter, which one would no longer mention in such a letter today. These include the applicant’s height (178 centimeters) and weight (59 kilograms).
