After six years in a row, the American aircraft manufacturer Boeing will be confronted with the next disaster. The reason is the customs policy of US President Donald Trump. After high rates were imposed on China, the Asian country responded to American products with counter-tariffs of 125 percent.
Boeing Jets for Chinese airlines became more than twice as expensive as before. In the meantime, the airlines of the country no longer accept the manufacturer’s machines.
The competition is already clearly entangled: the world’s largest aircraft manufacturer Airbus from Europe wants to produce a total of 75 copies per month of its competitive model family from 2027 – because Dick is the order books. Last year Airbus supplied 766 aircraft over all model rows. With 348 copies, Boeing did not even achieve half as much.
