According to “Defling” – Rosenbauer: Order books are always fuller

Date:

Equity is re -consolidated thanks to the 119 million euros of the new majority owner Robau – this gives Rosenbauer a lot to meet the increasing demand, which is also reflected in the figures. In the first quarter of 2025, the sale of the fire brigade rose to EUR 263.6 million.

“The extinguishing frequency has been successfully ended”-the new Rosenbauer CEO Robert Ottel summarized the year 2024 for the Fire Brigade Outfitter of Leonding (Upper Austria). With a record order certificate worth 1.7 billion euros, the company made a pillow that others would like. Nevertheless, you have to become in production faster. “It’s about reducing the lead times,” says Ottel.

Sale of 38 million euros higher
Three weeks after his job at Rosenbauer, the figures for the first quarter of 2025 were presented to Wednesday – and they continue to show a positive trend.

Turnover increased from 225.6 million euros in the previous year to EUR 263.6 million in the first quarter of 2025. The operating result had improved considerably by nine million euros. The net result was simply positive, came to around 100,000 euros. In 2024, this passerby still had 9.1 million euros in the first three months.

In any case, the outlook is good
The fire brigade industry benefits from well -filled order books, the company says. However, it is not certain how limited municipal budgets and new trade barriers influence the orders for fire brigades. At the same time, planned investments of governments in safety, infrastructure and climate protection are a great potential. From the end of March 2025, the order stock rose to 2.34 billion euros at Rosenbauer.
