Afraid in the Japanese car industry: According to insiders, car manufacturers Suzuki has set the production of his successful model Swift because of the lack of rare earths.
The reason for the lack of important raw materials would be China’s delivery restrictions. Initially, no further details were given. A Suzuki spokesperson rejected a remark on the bottom of the production stop, about which the business newspaper Nikkei had reported for the first time.
The car company initially suspended the construction of the Swift Small car, with the exception of the sports model from 26 May to 6 June and justified this with a lack of components. In the European car industry, China has also led to the first production errors for rare earths since April.
According to the Clepa of the European supplier Association, the first car suppliers had to stop the production lines.
