The German fashion entrepreneur Patrick Cloppenburg wants to take over the Tyrol department store in Innsbruck. According to a message from the Federal Competition Authority (BWB), Horn Grundbesitz GmbH (Liechtenstein), a subsidiary of JC Luxembourg who holds SCSP (Luxembourg), wants to gain the only control over the Tyrol department store. The director is Cloppenburg, 42, owner of the fashion chain Peek & Cloppenburg. The BWB was already reported on June 6.
About 140 million euros
Until recently, Patrick Cloppenburg was the head of the Board of Directors of the Swiss JC Switzerland Holding, in which the threads of the Peek & Cloppenburg Group collection. He has withdrawn and apparently invested in real estate.
The selling price must be “in a range of 100 to 150 million euros”. Media report that “the deal can now last around 140 million euros”.
