Tourist countries are recovering more slowly
According to the Wifo study, the tourist regions lagged behind: in Tyrol the economy grew by 1.3 percent and in Salzburg by 2.7 percent. In all federal states, the production of goods rose by ten to 22 percent. The construction sector also recovered strongly and even trade saw an increase in employment and turnover despite repeated restrictions.
