Irish band Wild Youth performed a striptease version of their 2020 single “Through The Phone” at the Belfast Live sessions in Limelight.
It comes when the Dublin-based band – which has amassed several million streams on Spotify and has emerged as one of Ireland’s biggest emerging pop bands – plans to play Limelight 2 on Saturday 5th March.
The band achieved great success at home and abroad with a string of singles in 2017 and 2018, including “All or Nothing”, “Can’t Move On” and “Lose Control”.
Debut EP in 2019 I’ll see you later – Which was full of catchy dance/pop music – They cemented their position as one of the best things to come out of Ireland in recent years.
The band, made up of David Whelan (vocals/guitar), Ed Porter (guitar/vocals), Conor O’Donoghue (keyboards/vocals) and Callum McAdam (drums), have also been producing for the past two years. , despite the blocking problems.
Their song “Champagne Butterflies” was an instant hit, while their single “Through The Phone” was also a huge hit.
