The photo exhibition ‘Traditional gastronomy in Murcia as a cultural heritage’ opens this Tuesday at noon in the temporary room of the Museum of the Huerta de Alcantarilla.
The exhibition can be seen until March 19 from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In this temporary exhibition of photographs by documentary filmmaker María Luján, shot between 2014 and 2022, you will see juicy snapshots of rituals, customs and traditions that contemporary society performs in relation to food.
On this occasion, the intention was to depict the social and cultural construction related to food and the taste of eating a series of delicacies during a feast or according to an annual cycle.
