The critically acclaimed movie ‘Ghost’ will land at El Batel Auditorium in Cartagena and has been turned into a musical. In the production, David Bustamante and Ricky Merino alternate as the protagonist, Sam. The show offers six performances between March 23 and 26. During the presentation yesterday in Cartagena, Merino said that “Ghost” was already one of his favorite musicals before he joined his cast. “Musically he’s brilliant, all his music is great, without forgetting the script, one of the best in history.”
The performance includes live music, with a band consisting of pianists, drums, bassist and guitarist, under the musical direction of Julio Awad, immersing the viewer in the mythical pop/rock of the 90s, without ‘Unchained Melody’, the iconic theme that has gone down in history as a soundtrack.
Depending on the date, the musical takes place at different times. Bustamante plays in the performance on Thursday 23, on Friday 24 at 6 p.m., on Saturday 25 at 9:30 p.m. and on Sunday 26 at 6 p.m. And Ricky Merino will perform at the performances on Friday, March 24 at 9:30 PM and Saturday, March 25 at 6:00 PM.
