The musician will receive the 5,000 euros with which the first prize was awarded at the Villa de Molina Theater on Saturday, during the final gala of the competition
Emin Kiourktchian Tedtoeva is the winner of the IX Villa de Molina Young Performers Competition, which has a national character for the first time, in which students from conservatoires across Spain who are studying higher education have participated. The young man born in Córdoba will receive the 5,000 euros with which the main prize was awarded on Saturday at the Villa de Molina Theater during the final gala of the competition. Emin studies at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in the Fundación Banco Santander Piano Chair in Madrid. “The jury was unanimous,” says Andrés Salado, president of the jury.
Eva Gironés Martínez is the winner of the third prize for piano, awarded by the jury. In addition, the Virginia Martínez Fernández Prize has been awarded to those born, residents or students of the Region of Murcia. This prize is awarded by the organizing committee. Each of the two prizes is endowed with 1,000 euros. “I will invest it in my musical education,” said the young pianist before accepting both awards at the gala on Saturday.
Andrés Salado Egea has also been jury president in the rope modality. Salado believes that a competition that wants to position itself at the national level must have some parameters and some demand levels. For this reason, the first and second prize of the competition in the rope mode could have been declared void.
The third prize went to the violinist Daniel Bravo Pérez, a student at the Katarina Gurska Superior Center for Musical Education in Madrid. There was also an honorable mention for Margarita Guerrero Martínez from Murcia, student at the ‘Manuel Masotti Littel’ Higher Music Conservatory.
