Cultural activities continue this week with a tribute to the recently deceased actor Juan Diego. On Thursday 16 June at 7.30 pm the film ‘Esperpentos’ (2008) by José Luis García Sánchez will be screened. ‘Esperpentos’ «is perhaps the most surprising adaptation, and at the same time cruelly faithful, of the work of Valle Inclán; a vision between gloomy and venomous of some of the ancient institutions of the kingdom (the military) and of some of the spirits of deep Spain (envy, adultery, even incest) », they affirm from the blind space.
The cycle continues on Thursday September 23 with the screening of ‘Vete de mí’ (2006) by Víctor García León.
