The Calasparra Rice Fair suffers the loss of the legendary Miura cattle. The company Chipé Producciones, organizer of the festivities, is forced to make a last minute change in the livestock to be treated on September 4. The change has been prompted “by the significant losses incurred by Miura’s planned bullfight, which cannot be reconstituted because this herd has no other oxen to meet the demands of a fair like Calasparra.” In consultation with the city council and the Werktafel, the company has decided that Daniel Ramos’ cattle farm will replace Miura’s announced one.
El Hierro de Ramos is the only bullfighting herd to graze in the Valencian Community; is registered with the Association of Breeders of Fighting Bulls. The poster is as follows: Daniel Ramos steers for José Rojo, Pedro Gallego and Diego García.
