Two weeks after his intervention on the larynx, Burgenland governor Hans Peter Doskozil (SPÖ) is pleased with a very good recovery process. Soon he wants to take over the official business again.
“The surgery went very well and I am on the right track to recovery,” Doskozil said in a broadcast. At the same time, he thanked Burgenland for the numerous recovery wishes. “You have given me a lot of strength,” said the governor. He has already made his first visit to his office.
Discharged from the hospital
Doskozil was able to leave the hospital in Leipzig only ten days after the operation. The treating physicians are convinced that the resulting respiratory problems have been resolved in the long term.
The governor himself already holds important meetings and is in regular contact with his office. “In the coming days I want to formally take over the official business again,” announced Doskozil.
