This Thursday marks ten years since Urkullu was first sworn in as a Lehendakari, and to mark the anniversary, he wanted to summarize his lines of action and thank him for the support received in a message posted this morning on his Facebook profile.
Urkullu defends “a model of political and institutional action at the service of all people, which leaves no one behind. A model that aims to progressively and positively influence the quality of life and well-being of each person. Today, the Basque Country has 100,000 people living for more than 10 years ago worked and contributed to social security. Thanks to the shared model of sustainable human development, we are today one of the countries in Europe with the least social inequalities”.
According to the Lehendakari, the Basque Country has “more consolidated public services” and is currently “a better-formed society, with a more established coexistence, in which inter-party agreements and institutional stability are a hallmark”.
