The leader of Podemos and Minister of Social Rights, Ion Belarrahas denounced the “intensification” of the “coup d’état strategy” of the “political and judicial” right, based on the possibility of temporarily suspend the reform of the Constitutional Court (TC), and calls on the government to take all measures to defend “legitimacy and constitutional order” against these attacks.
In this sense, he stressed that even the PSOE “finally” now criticizes “reactionary bloc” drift when he has spent much time “looking the other way without stopping for a moment to encourage and seek state pacts with the PP”.
It has therefore demanded that its coalition partner agree to also change the election system of the General Council for the Judiciary (CGPJ). to choose new vowelsdespite the blockade exercised by the people, with an absolute majority to end “this outrage” of the Magna Carta.
