Both the domestic labor market and the domestic economy have developed well. In January, the unemployment rate in Austria was an estimated 7.6 percent. But how has the world of work changed? AMS board member Johannes Kopf talks to moderator Tanja Pfaffeneder about the developments.
A good work-life balance stands for a balanced relationship between work and private life. The goal is to strike a healthy balance between private interests and the demands of the working world. But does it work in practice and why are employers adapting to potential employees now? “The world of work has changed,” explains AMS boss Johannes Kopf.
“There have never been so many vacancies at the AMS as there are now. The employee can therefore demand more, not only money, but also better working conditions. Employers have to dance to be attractive, to find good people,” says Kopf.
Working until 70?
