After a short break in negotiations on Thursday, the ÖVP and SPÖ were back at the negotiating table on Friday. At least according to official information, the replacement of the AMS boss is not an issue there, since – as it is said when asked – “there are no cards in the game”. “The board of directors of AMS Austria decides on the appointment of the new state manager,” says the labor market service. Nevertheless, filling the post, which is advertised for about 11,000 euros gross, is likely to become a political issue.
