EH Bildu’s spokeswoman in Navarra’s parliament has pointed out that “it is time to end a cycle” and added that it has been a “privilege” to experience the process of change in Navarre.

Bakartxo Ruiz first appeared on the EH Bildu lists in 2011. This Sunday is the deadline for potential candidates to submit their candidacy, but the name of the person who will replace him on the list will not be known until November.
