The Political Table of EH Bildu Nafarroa has nominated Laura Aznal as the lead candidate for the Parliament of Navarra for the next elections and the Political List of Iruñea Joseba Asirón as the lead candidate for the Pamplona City Council.
EH Bildu Nafarroa’s Political Table believes that “Aznal has demonstrated political and professional solvency which she has demonstrated over the years at EH Bildu, as Ezcabarte councilor and parliamentarian, and in her 20-year career at Volkswagen.”

For its part, the political table of EH Bildu Iruñea has stated that “Joseba Asirón is the ideal candidate for the Iruñea that we want to continue to build. An Iruñea of the future that respects its diversity and is committed to sustainability. A left-wing Iruñea, feminist and anti-racist”.
The internal procedure for nominating candidates will remain open until next Sunday, May 8. In the coming weeks, the bases of EH Bildu will have to vote on the submitted candidatures as stated in the bylaws of EH Bildu.
If there was only one candidacy at a time, the vote would take place on May 12, 13 and 14, the coalition said in a note.
Should there be more than one candidate, a debate will take place between 11 and 25 May and the vote will take place on 26, 27 and 28 May.
