The PNV’s Gipuzko Buru Batzar president has taken part in the reopening of the Aretxabaleta Batzoki in which he praised the jeltzale model against the “voted” nationalist left.
The chairman of the Gipuzku Buru Batzar of the PNVJoseba Egibar, has claimed “memory, human rights, reality, authenticity and truth” Seen “amnesia, adamism and camouflagefrom the abertzale left, in a speech at the reopening of the Batzoki in Aretxabaleta
Egibar has defended that “the PNV has already 125 years in the national and social construction of our people”, adding that the trajectory “endorses” the jeltzale formation because “we were right in the key strategic decisions”.
The leader of Jeltzale has emphasized that the main goals of the future are “the people, their care and the maintenance of solid public services, economic development, social justice and political sovereignty, full self-government as a result of sovereignty, the Basque language as the transversal axis of our policy, and the preservation and cultivation of our national identity”.
Attack on the Nationalist Left
In a speech with electoral undertones, Egibar criticized “the amnesia and adamism” that influence the nationalist left and lead them to “camouflage themselves”.
“To have amnesiafocused on human rights, to read the past and build the future,” he explained: “They don’t remember anything, they don’t want to qualify the past that it seems to move or condition, they don’t know where they were, or what they did, or what they said.”Adamism because according to them nothing good has been done; the world begins with them,” he indicated, pointing out that “they need to open their eyes and recognize what has been built so that ways of collaboration can be opened” and “since they don’t remember anything and nothing has been done, they decide camouflage“, underlined.
According to him, “memory and human rights must be applied in the light of amnesia, against Adamism, reality, 43 years of national and social construction, and against camouflage, authenticity and truth.”
