There was once. The Ibiza video. The cost scandal. Then there was an election debacle in Vienna and huge losses in Upper Austria. This is what the recent history of the FPÖ looked like. Everything is different now. Because ÖVP and SPÖ attack each other linguistically as if they were in the interwar period. The rest of the parties also fight among themselves, but not against the FPÖ.
1. The day before yesterday, a survey for the television channel ATV caused a stir. The FPÖ with Herbert Kickl is therefore 30 percent. Karl Nehammer’s ÖVP is six percentage points behind. The SPÖ with Andreas Babler is even more behind. And what if BIER is the party of presidential candidate Dominik Wlazny? And if the KPÖ enters the National Council? There are hardly any losses for the FPÖ here. The SPÖ, however, falls below 20 percent. GRÜNE and NEOS would fall well below ten percent.
