47,411 requests to vote by mail have been accepted, three times the number of the 28 million municipal and midterm elections.
With a list of voters 519,898 peoplein the Foral Community of Navarre The entire apparatus for the parliamentary elections is now ready. In total, 362 polling stations with 997 tables are used and 6.9 million ballots have been printed.
These are data presented at a press conference by the representative of the Government of Spain in Navarre, Jose Luis Arasti, who explained the organization of an apparatus under the responsibility of the General State Administration. As he has noted, they relented 47,411 applications to vote by mailtriple that in municipal and county elections of 28 million.
After thanking both the work of the government delegation staff in Navarre and the post office staff, Arasti indicated that the process has been coordinated for weeks with all municipalities of the Foral community, in order to allocate, and where appropriate replace those non-printed materials needed for the voting day, such as ballot boxes, voting booths or signs.
In terms of data transfer, there will be a total of 714 representatives of the State General Administration, of which 201 will be the 279 tables installed in Pamplona. The remaining 513 will report the 718 tables installed in the rest of Navarre. A total of 321 electronic devices, including tablets and mobile phones, will be used to transmit the information to the data receiving centers.
Close on the other side 1,400 officers from various police forces active in Navarra will be involved in the security apparatus. In addition, qualified personnel will be present at the headquarters of the government delegation throughout the election day to resolve any incident that may arise with the representatives of the municipal councils, the composition of the tables or the equipment, in collaboration with the electoral boards.
