“Criminals” is how Rieder MFG politician Petra Saleh-Agha describes the German government in a Facebook post that has since been deleted. A first “criminal” statement against doctors last year got her into trouble.
In the posting, which went online on May 20, the councilor of Rieder scolded MFG at the German federal government and even asked if it would be “locked up”. The background is probably the warning of a new Covid variant.
The local politician should know better. In the previous year, specifically on Oct. 21, she also wrote in a message that hospital staff were “criminals” and that anyone campaigning for vaccine advertising was one. After doctors joined forces to file a lawsuit, the retraction and an apology came. But 14 doctors filed a lawsuit and they eventually reached an amicable settlement. The politician has to donate about 2000 euros to a good cause.
