Navarre will amend the law to take over the traffic jurisdiction that has been annulled by the Supreme Court

The President of the Foral Government, Maria Chivitehas announced that Navarra will take the initiative to… traffic skills annulled by the Supreme Court and will, to this end, reform the Organic Law of Reintegration and Improvement of the Foral Regime of Navarre (Lorafna).

The reform of this law or an organic law of Article 150.2 of the Constitution are the ways that the Supreme Court leaves open so that Navarre can take over the powers that it has declared null and void, considering that they cannot be transferred. by royal decree.

In statements to journalists before the start of Parliament’s plenary session, Chivite announced that he has decided to take the initiative and implement this transfer of power through a reform of the Lorafna.

To do this, they will submit an agreement to the board meeting next Wednesday, a step before the start of the reform and the formal notification to the government of Spain.

Likewise, he has indicated, this agreement will identify the people who will be present in the negotiating committee to be established for this purpose. On behalf of the government of Navarre, there will be the people who hold the vice-presidencies and the general director of the presidency.
