On the occasion of the European Football Championship, which will take place in Germany this summer, there is now a unique opportunity to win. The Chancellery is giving away a ball, signed by Chancellor Karl Nehammer and ÖFB team boss Ralf Rangnick.
The Chancellor and the team boss played a match at the “Wuzler” in the Chancellery last week and signed an official European Championship ball. This will be raffled from Saturday on the Chancellor’s social media channel.
“Austria can be proud that Ralf Rangnick has decided to remain ÖFB team boss. The Austrian fans are already looking forward to the first match and I am also keeping my fingers crossed for our national team at the European Championship,” said Nehammer.
Nehammer wants to build a new national stadium
Nehammer and Rangnick also discussed a new national stadium during their meeting. In his “Austria Plan”, the Chancellor proposed a modern and adequate venue for the national team, a multifunctional national stadium that could also be used for many other events. An idea for which he found consistent support from the ÖFB team boss. In the coming government period, plans for a new national stadium will be completed in close cooperation with the ÖFB.
