The committees of the Basque Parliament of the 13th term were set up this Friday, and the PNV and the PSE-EE, the two parties that make up the coalition government, will chair 16 of the 20 committees, while the remaining four will be divided equally between EH Bildu and the PP. The Mixed Group (Sumar and Vox) will not chair the committees.
He PNVwith 27 seats, will lead 12 of these working groups. He PSE-EEwith twelve seats, will be chairman 4 committees.
EH Bilduwhich equaled 27 seats with the PNV in the last elections for the Basque parliament, will be chairman 2 committees, while the PPwith 7 seats, the other will lead 2.
Since the members of the Joint Group (Sumar and Vox) have not reached an agreement on the committees in which each of its components will participate, the Council has assigned representation on ten committees to the parliamentarian of Add and in another ten, to the representative of VoxOnce the committees of the Basque Parliament of the 13th legislature have been constituted, the first meetings of the committees will take place in mid-September, as the Parliament will enter its non-working period next Monday, July 1, and will not resume its normal activity until September.
