The Secretary General of ERC, Marta Rovira, installed in Geneva (Switzerland) since March 2018.will return to Catalonia this Friday after the Tsunami Democràtic case was archived this week due to a procedural error by National Court Judge Manuel García-Castellón.
As reported by ERC, Rovira and the rest of those investigated in this case who left Spain to avoid legal action, including the Republican deputy in parliament Ruben Wagensberghave already started their return journey and will take part in a unitary event organised together with Òmnium Cultural on Friday at 9am in the municipality of Cantallops in Girona.
Along with Rovira and Wagensberg, three other people who are being investigated in this case are traveling from Switzerland: the first vice-president of Òmnium Cultural, Oleguer Serrathe businessman Josep Campmajó and the journalist Jesus Rodriguez.
The ERC General Secretary had always said that she would return to Catalonia once the Tsunami case was closed and on Tuesday she had already anticipated her willingness to personally participate in a meeting of ERC women that will take place on Saturday in Olesa de Montserrat (Barcelona).
