– PP-Vox breakup: Vox will now exercise a “loyal and strong” opposition in the autonomous communities where it has governed in coalition with the PP: Aragon, Castilla y León, the Valencian Community, Extremadura and Murcia. In the Balearic Islands, the far-right party will also stop supporting the minority government of the popular parties. The rupture between the PP and Vox comes after the PP approved the distribution of unaccompanied migrant children by the autonomies to alleviate the burden of the Canary Islands, proposed by the Spanish government. The PP will evaluate Vox’s decision next Friday.
– Second day of Lehendakari contact round: The Lehendakari, Imanol Pradales, continues today his round of talks with the political parties of the Basque Parliament. Today it is the turn of the PP and its government partners, the PSE-EE. The president of the Basque PP, Javier de Andrés, will go to the Ajuria Enea Palace (10:00), at the end of the meeting he will appear in the Basque Parliament to evaluate the meeting. At 12:00 the Lehendakari will receive the general secretary of the PSE-EE, Eneko Andueza, who will also make statements.
