Urges Fake News – Trump Worries About ‘Haitians Eating Pets’

Date:

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump refused to back down from his comments about pets allegedly eaten by immigrants during a campaign rally for Latino voters in Miami.

“I only said what was reported,” Trump said stubbornly at a town hall on Univision on Wednesday. “And they’re eating other things they shouldn’t be eating,” the Republican added.

The 78-year-old was referring to his comments that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, were stealing pets or eating wild animals in parks. The Republican candidate for the US vice presidency, JD Vance, had previously spread this. Local authorities have dismissed the claim as false. “There are no credible reports of Haitians eating pets,” a police spokesman said. The city has received bomb threats since Trump repeated his false accusations against Haitians.

Raised the prospect of mass deportations
The ex-president also announced mass deportations of Haitians if elected. When Trump was asked by a farm worker about the impact on agriculture, he deflected, claiming that African Americans and Hispanics were losing jobs because of illegal immigration. He repeated unsubstantiated claims that Latin American countries were emptying psychiatric hospitals and prisons to send people to the United States.

JD Vance denies Trump’s loss in the 2020 election
Meanwhile, after weeks of hesitation, the Republican candidate for the US vice presidency, JD Vance, unequivocally denied Donald Trump’s defeat in the 2020 election. When asked about this at an election rally in the state of Pennsylvania, Vance said on Wednesday: “I think there were serious problems in 2020. Did Donald Trump lose the 2020 election? Not by the words I would choose.”

Vance said he wasn’t promulgating “some crazy conspiracy theory.” Instead, he blamed online censorship by tech companies for the election results. Vance turned heads when he repeatedly dodged the question on Oct. 1 during the first and likely only televised matchup against his Democratic rival Tim Walz. Since then, despite repeated questions, he has not given a clear answer.

Research has shown that there is no voter fraud
Presidential candidate Trump continues to say he only lost the 2020 election to Democrat and current incumbent Joe Biden because of extensive voter fraud. However, over the past four years he has not provided legally reliable evidence for this. Numerous studies have also shown that there is no large-scale election fraud. Trump and his supporters also lost several lawsuits challenging the election results.
