The Conference of Presidents will take place in Santander on 13 December

The head of Spain’s executive branch will discuss issues such as regional financing, immigration, healthcare and housing with regional presidents.

According to Spanish government sources, the Conference of Presidents will meet in Santander on December 13 to address the problem of shelterthe regional financingthe immigration and the shortage of healthcare personnel.

It was agreed to add this at the Preparatory Committee meeting on October 28 agenda These last three issues were demanded by the majority of regional administrators, after President Pedro Sánchez announced that the Conference would address housing as the most important aspect.

As for the headquartersthe Presidents’ Summit will take place in the city of Santander, although the exact place for its celebration has not yet been determined.

Both the agenda and the fact that the headquarters were in Cantabria and the fact that the interventions in the Conference take place in the order of approval of the Statutes of Autonomy after an initial intervention by the President of the Conference Pedro Sanchezwere approved in the Preparatory Committee with the positive vote of all regional executives, except the Basque, who abstained.
