It is the second time that PSOE and Sumar prevent the board from resolving this formal procedure and decide to give themselves more time, this time with the intention of reaching an agreement with the Junts.
The Congress board has once again postponed its decision on whether or not to consider the non-legal proposal Together the president demands Pedro Sanchez that’s a matter of trust.
It’s the second time that PSOE and Sumar prevent the Table from resolving this formal procedure and decide to give themselves more time, this time with the intention of reaching an agreement with the Junts.
Junts registered his non-bill on December 9 and congressional lawyers presented no obstacles to its consideration, but when the Board of Governors first considered the initiative on December 17, the decision was left up in the air.
Then as now, the PSOE claims that there is no problem in postponing the Governing Council’s decision again because the Junts, if qualified, would have no room to submit the decision to the plenary until mid-Februarymonth in which new session starts.
So, all options remain openincluding the veto of the debate. The first secretary of the Board of Directors, Gerardo Pisarello, from Sumar, noted upon his arrival at last Tuesday’s meeting that he is in favor of seeing how it can be “adapted to the Regulations”, which would require a reformulation to entail.
