In the course of the ban on all activities of the UN Palestinian aid UNRWA on Israeli territory, Israel will stop indirect contacts to the organization in the future.
“Israel will put an end to every cooperation, communication and contact with UNRWA and everyone who acts on their behalf,” said the Israeli ambassador at the United Nations, Danny Danon, on Tuesday before a meeting of the UN Security Council in New York.
The Israeli government accuses UNRWA employees in the large attack by the radical Islamic Hamas in Israel on October 7, 2023.
In the meantime, the Israeli Minister of Defense Israel Katz announced that the Israeli army will remain “unlimited time” in its positions on Mount Hermon and the Syrian side of the safety zone between Israel, Syria and Lebanon.
