President Donald Trump’s government announced on Friday evening (local time) to want to remove four American media organizations from the office space that is assigned to them. The reason for this is to want to create space for other media representatives.
The “New York Times”, National Public Radio (NPR), NBC News and the online newspaper “Politico” are influenced by the decision. A memo about a “new annual media rotation program” states that the media representatives should erase their rooms before February 14.

In their place, the “New York Post”, one America News Network, Breitbart News Network and “Huffpost News” would receive the office space.
However, the four media organizations must remain full members of the Pentagon Press Corps.
Every year a media company in the field of print, online, TV or radio should now free up its office so that a new medium can withdraw and therefore get the chance to report as a resident of the Pentagon Press Corps.
