In Israel, the internal political crisis is currently a pussy. There are mass protests against the discharge of the manager of the domestic secret service. Now the Supreme Court has also confronted the government and initially released the resignation of Ronen Bar.
A judge issued an order on Friday, which, according to the court, will have a hearing. This should happen no later than April 8. Various groups, including the opposition politicians, had submitted petitions against the decision to dismiss the head of the intelligence bar.
Earlier, despite the mass protests, the Israeli government had approved the very controversial dismissal in the night. Bar will end his mandate on April 10, said it – unless a successor was previously appointed.
Warn companies about the constitutional crisis
After the Supreme Court had suspended the decision, companies in the country also expressed themselves against Israeli leadership. An important economic forum threatened to paralyze the economy of the country if the government does not have to comply with the decision of the court. The forum represents managers of the 200 largest companies in the country. “If the government does not follow the order and Israel plunges into a constitutional crisis, we call on the entire Israeli audience not to respect the decisions of the government,” said it.
The government is not above the law, said the Histadrut Union Davher Band, who represents around 800,000 members. He will not help with the destruction of Israeli society, said chairman Arnon Bar David.
Netanyahu did not get away well in research
In an investigation into the domestic secret service bet on errors that made Hamas massacre possible on October 7, 2023, the head of the Benjamin Netanyahu government had not gone well. Moreover, the service is reportedly investigating illegal relationships from well -known Netanyahus to Qatar. The country is one of the preference for indirect conversations with Hamas, but is also considered an advocate of the terrorist organization.
The Center-right party Yesh Atid spoke about a “flagrant conflict of interest”, four opposition parties submitted a call against the dismissal.
