After the sharp criticism of Vice Chancellor Andreas Babler (Spö) on ATV, the private broadcaster responds immediately. The controversial series “The Love Business” will be paused next Wednesday and will be subject to a content research, as ATV has announced on Sunday evening.
“I got extracts from shipping that glorify sexual violence,” the Spö Boss and Media Minister criticized the private broadcaster ATV on Saturday. “This open viewing place of sexual exploitation of women is not looking for something on TV or somewhere in our society,” said Babler on X (see posts below).
ATV: “Extensive internal process has started”
ATV responds to the violent criticism of the series and “immediately launched an extensive internal process” to undergo all the consequences of “Re -Quality Control”, the broadcaster said on Sunday evening. The most controversial episode and all clips have already been taken offline. Moreover, all non -published consequences would be checked and, if necessary, revised.

The four women’s seats ask ATV to “fulfill their responsibility for a free, equal and democratic society”. The trivialization of sexual violence is not one of them.

The chairman of the women warns that violence often starts with humiliation and relegation and eventually ends in attacks. “This must be over,” demand and emphasize: “We all take responsibility for respectful cooperation.”
