From 1 April, the court costs in Austria will rise by 23 percent. This influences, for example, the fixed costs for permanent writers in civil legal procedures and reimbursements for mutual acceptable divorces. Minister of Justice Anna Sporrer (Spö) has issued a corresponding regulation.
The registration and input costs in commercial book stores, reimbursements for the extracts of the land register and commercial register queries are also more expensive. On the other hand, those costs that form a percentage of the assessment base are, such as for questions from the central registration register.
Another innovation is that the annual income is increasing for which citizens are exempt from certain reimbursements – from 14,834 to 18,251 euros.
Exposed increase twice
The National Council recently distributed an increase of twice to Corona Pandemic and Strong Inflation. That is why the increase is 23 percent compared to 1 April. The Ministry of Justice said Tuesday. In the future, it should be possible that reimbursements for procedures in the case of temporary dispositions in violence and anti-speech area are supported by the amounts themselves.
