According to a current survey by NTV and RTL, the Union Parties CDU/CSU will continue to lose support in the German election population. The partial judge extremist alternative to Germany, on the other hand, receives almost every new survey. In the meantime, AfD and Union only separate one percentage point!
In the German elections of the Bundestag in February, the Union still had 28.5 and the AfD had almost 21 percent. According to the NTV trend barometer that was released on Tuesday, the AfD can now vote for 24 percent for itself, while the trade union has fallen to 25 percent.
CDU chairman Friedrich Merz, who will probably be the next Chancellor, is the biggest loser in the current survey. 28 percent of voters still consider him reliable, 70 percent not. At the beginning of December the world looked much better: 36 percent expressed their confidence in the 69-year-old, 60 percent not.
Angelching at Easter will probably not go out
In the meantime, the coalition negotiations will continue. Finally, it was said from the ranks of the Union parties and the SPD to come to “good solutions”. The results of the discussions are the results of 16 working groups that have developed projects for the respective topics since 13 March. Negotiating circles were said to no longer be calculated with curses in Merz as Chancellor in the week after Easter, but earlier at the beginning of May.
