Kaiser’s red heirs – The course: who will be new at No. 1 in Carinthia?

Date:

After the announced withdrawal of the Governor of Carinthia Peter Kaiser as Spö Boss, the Reds in the southernmost state are confronted with a decisive course. In secret conversations, promising heirs of Kaisers want to discuss the way for the decision. Three names are in the race.

In the fall, Kaiser will no longer run for the Spö Carinthia Party Chair. A fight on the open stage in the campaign camp is by no means. That is why the ambitions of the most promising candidates are investigated in confidential discussions of Easter.

State Councilor Fellner Only Reserve
The Spö Club director Philip Kucher and the mayor of Villach Günther album get the best opportunities. State councilor Daniel Fellner is also mentioned. Fellner is just a reserve within the Carintic Spö. “The state elections are decided in the Klagenfurt and Villach area, Fellner can’t score. We can’t keep Carinthia with him,” said a party Insider.

Kucks and Albel still hesitate
So the decision between Kucher and album must be made. “Both hesitate. In conversations, the two want to agree on a way to make a decision. Everything must be amical,” said a confidant.

Kaiser sees a political attraction in Kucher. But he still hesitates whether he wants to switch to Klagenfurt. The mayor of Villach won the profile.

If neither Kucher nor Albel want to get in the footsteps of Kaiser, the mayors Martin Kulmer and Andreas Scherwitzl are ready. The decision must be made in the summer.
