After about 100 days in office, US President Donald Trump has to fight with bad survey values. In one, 39 percent of the respondents were satisfied with his earlier work. More than every second person (55 percent), however, was dissatisfied.
This survey was carried out on behalf of the ABC television station and the “Washington Post”. In another study by the Omroep CNN, Trump still came up with an approval value of 41 percent. However, almost six out of ten respondents (59 percent) were dissatisfied with his politics. The media have commented on the worst values of an American president for decades.
For example, these regular surveys ask whether the citizens are satisfied with the way in which the president exercises his office. Trump was sworn in for a second term on January 20. He will be 100 days in office tomorrow.
Trump: “Authority are criminals”
Trump has already sharply criticized the recent surveys. On the Truth Social Online platform he described the results as “fake” and the authors as “criminals”. The media houses are “sick” and almost only wrote negative articles about him. “They must be investigated against these people for election fraud.” In fact, he was accused of election fraud – because he had tried to tilt his defeat against Joe Biden in 2020. However, there was no process due to the victory in the 2024 presidential election.
