The Ukrainian President Wolodyymyr Senskyj has again pointed to Russian attacks on civil institutions. The Kremlin would even focus on this. The head of state shared photos to show the damage.
According to the authorities, nine people were injured in Russian attacks on the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiw. “Women also belong to the wounded in a pregnancy department,” wrote the Ukrainian President Wolodyymyr Senskyj on the X.
Fortunately, at least no children were injured in this attack. Senskyj accused the Russian army to consciously focus on citizens. “Russia strives for life itself – even where it arises,” the Ukrainian president continued.
“Ukraine needs protection – in particular air defense and interceptors. This was discussed with all our partners. We have received positive signals and it is crucial that these signals result in concrete investments in this technology.” According to Senskyj, the economic pressure on the Kremlin must be exerted.
Senskyj is on support
“We expect the approval of a new sanction package. Everything that puts pressure on Russia and it can stop must be implemented as soon as possible,” says Senskyj.
According to his information, there were also attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolajiw, Sumy and the morning in the Odessa area. Russia will not give peace and continue to attack with bombs, rockets and drones. That is why the reinforcement of air defense is the top priority.
Both warring parties cover themselves with attacks every night and every day. The United Nations had only published a report the day before, according to which the number of citizens in Ukraine in June in June was in the highest level in three years -to -to -date.
