Adrian Mannarino and Serbian Laslo Djere will play in the final of the ATP 250 Tour of Winston-Salem (USA). The Frenchman qualified on Friday by beating Dutch Botic van de Zandschulp 6-0 6-4 in one hour and 15 minutes and the tournament title will be played against Djere, who won his semifinal against Swiss Marc-Andrea Huesler by 7 – 6(3) and 7-6(5) in two hours and 17 minutes.
In the women’s circuit, Russian tennis player Liudmila Samsonova and Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich will meet for the title of the WTA 250 tournament in Cleveland (USA.). Samsonova on Friday outlasted American Bernarda Pera, whom she defeated 6-1, 6-2 in 53 minutes.
Sasnovich had more work to do, defeating French Alizé Cornet in a grueling two hour and 51 minute match that ended 6-7 (5), 7-5 and 6-3.
This is the second edition of this WTA tournament and the winner of the final will succeed Estonian Anett Kontaveit, who last year became the first winner in Cleveland.
In the Granby tournament (Canada), the final will be played by Daria Kasatkinawho defeated Diane Parry 6-2, 6-0, and Daria Saville, who qualified after Marta Kostyuk retired due to injury.
