Alonso ‘congratulated’ Hamilton when he saw him standing on the track

Date:

Sparks flew. And more than that. He remembered the old days and the tension between Hamilton and Alonso when they shared a team at McLaren in 2007. They were old enemies. Forever. And that was seen in the first change which shared a good starting position on an F1 grid. Alonso started in 3rd and Hamilton, in fourth position. They only had to touch each other for a few corners fighting for the second position.

The Asturian exploded before the action of Lewis Hamilton, closing Fernando on the outside in a curve, causing an accident that will be investigated by the Race Direction. Hamilton retired because of this, while Fernando was able to continue but from fourth place (he finished 5th). The controversy was served, and more after Alonso’s radio: “What an idiot! Closing the door from the outside! We had a mega start but this man only knows how to drive by going first.”

});

Then, as the safety car came on on lap 2, Fernando Alonso passed in front of a Hamilton who had parked his Mercedes on the side of the track and had to retire due to that accident with the Spaniard. And there, Fernando continues to point his finger at the English, reversing the action of his eternal rival.
