Jorge De Frutos’ agent, Johnma Lopez, confirmed this Thursday after meeting with Levante executives that the Valencian club does not accept the offer presented by Getafe.
“It’s an important offer that Levante appreciates, though it’s not thought through”, De Frutos’ agent said when leaving Levante’s offices in Ciutat de València.
According to sources close to the negotiations, the official offer from Getafe presented by De Frutos is €10 million, which could be slightly increased with different incentives, but Levante did not accept the proposal.
With this latest rejection, Levante deemed negotiations for De Frutos settled, according to both sources, and let the Segovian winger try to return to First division at the end of this season.
