The first surprise of the day, although expected, was the initial leadership of the Italian Mattia Pasini, a native of the town of Rimini, very close to the Misano Adriatico circuit, who despite his 37 years decided to compete in this race as a guest driver (wild card) within the team of Jorge Martínez “Aspar” and immediately showed that the layout of “Marco Simoncelli” is almost like the “corridor of his house”.

And, while Pasini was surprised on the track, the Spaniard Augusto Fernández, until the Austrian race leader of the world championship, suffered a fall on the other one on the track, at the end of the straight, which caused damage to his motorcycle and forced he. to walk back to his workshop, which greatly conditioned his performance in the batch.

Augusto Fernández barely completed three laps before crashing and, at the time, he was in thirteenth position.

His ally, the Spaniard Peter Acostais one of those who also advanced in minutes, despite the occasional fear, to be among the top ten -ninth- when they enter the last ten minutes.

In the final seconds, nothing could dislodge Celestino Vietti from first place, with Pasini following him and the British Jake Dixon (Kalex), third, ahead of Arón Canet (Kalex) and Augusto Fernández, who had time to improved from seventh to fifth place, beating his great championship rival, Japanese Ai Ogura (Kalex), who finished sixth.

Fermín Aldeguer (Boscoscuro) managed to finish in tenth position, with his teammate Alonso López in twelfth and both in the second direct classification, as well as the Thai Somkiat Chantra (Kalex) and the Spaniard Pedro Acosta.

Outside of it, for the time being, remained Albert Arenas (Kalex), Manuel “Manugas” González (Kalex), Jorge Navarro (Kalex), Marcos Ramírez (MV Agusta) and Jeremy Alcoba (Kalex).
