DAZN, the leading global sports streaming platform, today airs a new exclusive interview with Fernando Alonso. The Asturian pilot examines his future in Formula 1the reasons for his change of team or the recent controversy with Lewis Hamilton in Belgian Grand Prixamong other current topics about the championship.

Alonso pointed out in this new DAZN content that: “I hope I will be in Formula 1 for at least two or three more years, I think I am 100%. And then, from there, a challenge that I have never hidden is to try the Dakar again”.

In the last few days, the Asturian’s words on the team radio about Lewis Hamilton after his incident at the race in Belgium have been on everyone’s lips. For Alpine: “These are the things you say and don’t think. My mistake in telling them. But well, at the same time, you have to understand Formula 1. It’s all a bit of a show and we’ll try not to give them too much of a show when it’s controversial.”

The Spanish driver also examines in the interview his change of team and what led him to make this decision: “It was because of the desire I saw on the part of Aston Martin to get me and, perhaps, those who were missing from Alpine.. Or the signs of love that maybe I don’t have here. Alpine has Piastri, the young talent from the academy, and I’m also going to a project that seems more ambitious than Alpine.”
