Gran Canaria Teldeportivo lost this Saturday against Futsi Atlético Navalcarnero (1-7) on the first day of the match in the First Women’s Futsal Federation, after stopping the reigning champions for 34 minutes, ending the scoring with a difference of six with goals in the last minute of the game contested in the pavilion of Ciudad Deportiva Gran Canaria.
The final result was too much for the merit of both teams, as the Madrilenians sentenced their victory when the players trained by Cristina Gimeno attacked with the goalkeeper-player.
Local goalkeeper Marta Jiménez prevented the visitors from taking the lead in the first half, managing to reach half-time scoreless.
After the restart, in the 22nd minute, Futsi opened the scoring with luck, as the ball driven by María Sanz hit the local defense and cleared the goalkeeper. After a good local combination that ended with Idoya Martínez, the tie was quickly put on the scoreboard.
The girls from Madrid gave their actions more rhythm and the defense from Gran Canaria managed to stop them until minute 34, María Sanz scored a great goal with a ball in between the lines, and both players repeated the luck two minutes later.
1-3 developed a new game in which the women of Cristina Gimeno decided to take risks and attack five, moving the ball well but without speed, making several losses that their rival took advantage of to increase their advantage until the last 1-7.
