La Cultural played and won 0-1 as a guest in last Saturday’s match at Nuevo Mirador. Algeciras arrived with the aim of reaping another victory after defeating Rayo Majadahonda 2-1 at their stadium. As for the visiting team, Cultural Leonesa defeated Ceuta 2-0 in their fiefdom in the last game. After the match, the team from Algeciras was eleventh at the end of the game, while Cultural was third.
The first team to score was the eleven from León, who took advantage of the game to open the score with a goal from Solís at 11 minutes. With this 0-1, the first half of the match ended.
Neither team scored in the second half, so the match ended with a score of 0-1.
Both coaches made moves on the benches. The Algeciras coach brought in Nico Van Rijn, Siddiki and Mizzian for Figueras, César García and Elejalde, while Cultural brought in Muguruza, Roberto Alarcón, Trigueros, Julen Castañeda and Claudio Medina for Percan, Solís, Querol, Obolskii and Joe Lopez.
The referee showed six yellow cards, four for Figueras, Tomás, Turrillo and Nico Van Rijn, from the local team and two for Percan and Tarsi, from the visiting team.
With this result, Algeciras was left with three points and Cultural rose to six points.
On the next day of the First Federation, both Cultural Leonesa and Algeciras will play another match away from home against Racing Ferrol and Badajoz respectively.
