The Balearic MotoGP rider Joan Mir (Suzuki) announced this Tuesday on his Twitter account that he will return to the tracks this weekend in Aragon Grand Prixafter suffering a spectacular fall during the Austrian Grand Prix which caused an ankle injury and prevented him from running Mianat the San Marino Grand Prix.
“I’m very happy to be back in competition at the Aragon Grand Prix, in front of all the home fans. It won’t be an easy GP, because I haven’t fully recovered, but we will fight and give 110% to get the best result possible.” the 25-year-old Mallorcan pilot wrote to his followers.
The Moto3 (2017) and MotoGP (2020) world champion will try to take advantage of his last races with Suzuki, who left the Motorcycle World Championship as a team at the end of this championship, with the future assured, after signing the HRC team (Honda Racing Corporation) for the next two seasons.
